The Halo SuperSoft water softener removes hard water minerals like calcium and magnesium through an ion exchange process, where resin beads trap these minerals and replace them with sodium or potassium ions. This prevents scale buildup in pipes and appliances while improving soap lather and water quality throughout your home. When the resin beads become saturated with minerals, the system automatically regenerates by flushing them out and recharging with fresh sodium or potassium.
